We are all in this together

I’ve been playing this video on repeat.  Goodness of God by Bethel. The lyric which keeps me playing it over and over: “Your goodness is running after me.”  Sometimes I feel like I have to run so hard after God, especially during this crazy season.  But I’ve got it all wrong. HE’S RUNNING AFTER ME!!!

This has nothing to do with my blog today, but just wanted to share it with you because it’s bringing me so much peace.

My blog is a little different than usual.  It’s devoted to praying for you because I feel like you need to know that you and your business are being prayed over during this time.

God, please eradicate the lies that Christian entrepreneurs are hearing. Please help business owners have discernment. Help them know the difference between your truth and the lies of the enemy. The lies are so prolific and are found in practically everything we see and hear. Today, I pray that Christian entrepreneurs have a swift check in their spirit if something doesn’t line up with your Word. I pray lies are forgotten as soon as they’re heard. I pray we are only led to read or see information that is steeped in fact. Father, your name is powerful and your Word is Truth. God, help my friends be strong in seeing and believing only the information that is factual and can be used to make solid business decisions.  In Jesus Name, Amen

Discernment is so vital right now. I encourage you to pray for discernment daily before you start your day.

to walk in wisdom and to discover discernment.

and then the words you speak will express what you’ve learned.

Lovers of God have been given eyes to see
with spiritual discernment

So train your heart to listen when I speak
and open your spirit wide to expand your discernment—
then pass it on to your sons and daughters.

Friend, I won’t say I know exactly what you’re going through. Every business is different. This is my fourth economic downturn as an entrepreneur. I may not know your specific circumstance but I fully understand what’s going on in your heart.

Oh friend. PLEASE KNOW YOU ARE NOT ALONE.
