I love the idea of no new things…
When you read this, I will have just gotten back into town. We took a much-needed vacation and I’m pre-writing this on December 8th. I didn’t want to rush a blog out, the moment I returned.
I woke up this morning with this thought …..
2021 is to be a depth year. Not a year of new things but a year of going deeper in things already in place. A year of finishing things I’ve already started. No new services for my business, no new things in my house. Finish the books we have here. Deepen the relationships already in place – family, friends, business clients and contacts.
Deeper, not wider.
I shared my morning thought with my hubby. He said he could relate. With that said, he thought a great word was ‘purposely’.
To go and do purposely just feels like a great way to approach the New Year.
I love the idea of no new things after a year of surprises and so much unknown. Taking the familiar and making it even more meaningful. To do things on purpose with love….. gives me much hope.
Do you have a word for 2021? I’d love to know what it is.
Merry Christmas!
